Navigating the Permian Basin Master Gardener Website

To simplify navigation, ultimately the only detailed menu will be on the Permian Basin Master Gardener Homepage. To return to the PBMG Homepage and the Menu, just click the blue Home button such as the one above that you will find at the top of most pages.

In some cases, links on this site may direct you to a page without a Home button. When a link opens your default media player or another external window, such as Windows Media Player or Microsoft Word, close the application when you are finished and you should return to this website.

If you are on a remote website with no return link to this site, you can hit your browser's "Back" button from one to several times to get back.

If you have surfed extensively on the remote site, it would probably be easier to enter our web address (http://westtexasgardening.org) back into the URL (Address) field at the top of your browser and hit "Enter."

If you click on a link that opens Adobe Reader, you can use the 'Back" button at the top-left of the screen in the reader to return to the previous page, just as you would in your browser. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read PDF (Portable Document Format) files. You can download the free Acrobat Reader by clicking on the "Get Adobe Reader" button below. Some other apps are available that read PDF files.

To view Flash files (video) you will need Adobe Flash Player. You can also download it free by clicking on the "Get Adobe Flash Player" button below. PDF documents have companion Flash documents in most cases. The Flash pages are preferred over PDF UNLESS the document has bookmarks or indices. The Flash looks as good as PDF and prints as well, but does not have indices.

When download of these files is complete, follow on-screen instructions to install them on your computer. You can save the installers on your hard drive (click Save when prompted) for manual installation or install (click Open when prompted) the programs immediately with automatic installation.
