Fall Plant Sale Offers Hardy Choices

If you are looking to add color, texture, and plants that will grow in West Texas, our Fall Plant Sale is the place to be. The Permian Basin Master Gardeners will hold their plant sale on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Regular plant sale customers will find the same location. If you are new, the address is 3011 North County Road 1160 (Todd Road). Our Spring Plant Sale sold out by 11 a.m., so you may want to come early so that the plants you want are still available.
The advertised plant list includes American Beautyberry, Augusta Duelberg Salvia, Blue Mistflower, Coral Honeysuckle, Damianita, Esperanza “Gold Star”, Fall Aster, Flame Acanthus, Four-nerve Daisy, Henry Duelberg Salvia, Lanceleaf Coreopsis, Lindheimer’s Muhly, Rock Rose, Ruellia “Katie White”, Salvia davyi, and Salvia greggii “Furman’s Red”.
Additional plants include Skeleton Leaf Goldeneye, Turk’s Cap, White Mistflower, and Winecup. The variety of plants offers the opportunity to incorporate flowers, grasses, and native and adaptive plants that provide seasonal interest.
We will furnish boxes and a few wagons, but feel free to bring your own if you wish. The plant sale is held in a greenhouse, so it can be warm (and get warmer as the day progresses), so dress appropriately. All sales are final, and plant availability can change without notice.
